Being Taught From My Wagering Errors

First to explain the reason I wrote this article. I have been wagering on the web or at land-based betting houses for many years. I have learned, the fixation can grab a hold of you and you will not even realize it up until you are penniless. Especially if you’re on a winning run. I’ve gone through countless tens of thousands of dollars in only a tiny period of time and still on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It seems you’re just having fun until you start to be aware of your loss and the anguish sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can get it back" repeatedly. It never works. Then you feel queasy in your belly and the harder you attempt the faster you are deprived.

When you see that you are up, STAY on the UP! When you start to lose, don’t say to yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and over and over again, trust me, this logic almost never ever functions. Say you are playing on slots, have an amount set aside before beginning your play. Don’t exceed that limit, regardless how alluring. If you actually win, put that in a separate pot. Don’t use your successes no matter what. Once you have gambled through your primary set limit, bail out. Leave, whether it’s on the net or at a brick and mortar casino, do not stay around. Always remember, there is going to be another day, a different time.

Remember, gambling is assumed to be exciting not exhausting, sickening work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan not manage the cost, don’t even begin.
