Do Not Drink … Play!
If you like to have a beer ever so often, leave your money at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your handbag, your billfold, and leave all cash, credit cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Only take whatever money you intend to spend on drinks, tips and few dollars you intend to throw away and leave the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not really. Realistic more like. You may well experience a win after a boozy evening out with your comrades and be blessed sufficiently to hit a long roll at a smokin craps game. Hang on to that story considering that it is as brief as it gets if you continually consume alcohol and bet. The two simply do not mix.
Keeping your moola at home might be a bit drastic, but defensive actions for dramatic behavior is a requirement. If you gamble to win, then do not drink and gamble. If you are able to afford to be wasteful with your assets without a worry, then drink all the complimentary beer you can handle, but don’t carry plastic credit and checkbooks to toss into the mix of going after squanderings after your dead drunk self throws away all the cash!
Permit me to take this a single step further. do not drink and then head on the internet to gamble in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the comfort of my condominium, but because I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit in close proximity, I can not consume alcohol and wager.
Why? Even though I do not drink alcohol to excess, when I drink, it’s absolutely sufficient to blur my better judgment. I gamble, so I don’t drink alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, do not bet at the same time. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and expensive, drink.
